Description
Symbol of a warm welcome
The national Ekionkiestha’ longhouse of the Huron-Wendake people is located a few feet away from the Huron-Wendat Museum parking lot. Myths and legends from the pre-contact era with the Europeans are told around a fire while sipping a wam cup of Labrador tea, and tasting the traditional bannock bread. A tour of the longhouse is included with each guided tour of the Huron-Wendat Museum. You can even spend the night under the supervision of the firekeeper. Feel free to ask more information about our package!
