Raquettes et artisanat Gros-Louis

Description

Raquettes et Artisanat Gros-Louis is located right next to the famous Sagamité restaurant.

For 48 years, from father to son, Raquettes et Artisanat Gros-Louis has been offering typically Aboriginal arts and crafts products from all the nations of Quebec and more particularly from the Huron-Wendat nation. Their specialty remains the snowshoes made of ash wood and sinew (pre-tanned cow or moose rawhide), of different shapes and sizes and also aluminum snowshoes. You will also find: mukluks or winter shoes, moccasins, pipes, dreamcatchers, jewelry, drums, incense and spirituality. Many of these products are handmade by artisans from Wendake, but also by natives from other nations of Quebec.

Because of the quality and quantity of these products, Raquettes et Artisanat Gros-Louis is definitely a shopping stop to add to your stay.

Directly around, you will find the Kabir-Kouba waterfall, the fresco of the Wendat people, the Onywahtehretsih square, another craft shop, Le Petit Huron Moc, the Sagamité restaurant and the Notre-Dame-de-Lorette church.
