Nek8arre Restaurant

Description

The Nek8arre restaurant offers cuisine based mainly on venison (elk, venison and bison) and fish (trout and salmon). At each meal, you will also find a traditional soup either made from sunflower seeds or the famous Sagamité soup made up of the three sisters (corn, squash and beans). The meals are also accompanied by bannock bread. Bannock is bread originally made from corn flour made by the natives. It will be made out of berries and served for dessert or made in its more traditional form for other meals. You can also let yourself be tempted by a cake with a touch of maple syrup. Formulas adapted for groups are available upon reservation.

In addition to the pleasures of this table, take advantage of the rustic decor of this dining room. A shaded terrace is also accessible during the summer season.

In summary, the Nek8arre restaurant irremediably takes its visitors elsewhere, whether alone, with family or in a group. It offers food inspired by different Aboriginal cultures, which will please everyone. It is truly a place that will fascinate young and old alike.

The restaurant is located directly in the heart of the Traditional Huron Onhoüa Cheteck8e Site. It is not necessary to take the guided tour to access it.
